After gathering your ingredients and supplies, it’s time to make strawberry milk boba tea. The main steps in making strawberry boba tea are as follows:

  • Make strawberry syrup
  • Make the boba pearls
  • Brew the tea

1. Make the Strawberry Syrup for Strawberry Milk Boba Tea

2. Cook the Boba Pearls

Fresh boba is super easy to make and achieves that perfect chewy gummy bear consistency. This is my favorite brand of tapioca pearls.

Add a cup of water to a small pot and bring to a boil over medium heat. For one serving, add about 1/4 cup of dried boba to the boiling water and cover. They cook quickly (2.5 to 3 minutes). Remove the cooked chewy boba immediately, dunk it in cold water, and drain.

Immediately add the cooked boba to about 1/4 cup of syrup and allow them to steep off the heat for a few minutes before removing it from the pot to serve at room temperature. Only cook as much boba as you can use in one sitting though since they don’t keep very well.

3. Brew the Tea

Once you have your boba and strawberry syrup prepared, prepare the tea. Choose whatever kind of tea you like, just make sure tobrew your tea at the best temperaturefor your chosen tea type.

Allow the tea to cool to room temperature before adding to the strawberry milk and boba.

4. Assemble the Strawberry Milk Boba Tea

Once your ingredients are prepared, get ready to assemble your strawberry milk boba tea:

  • Add the boba.Place sweetened boba pearls on the bottom of your serving glass until they form a layer that is an inch to two inches thick.
  • Add ice.
  • Mix the strawberry milk.Stir the strawberry puree or syrup into the milk and stir vigorously with a spoon. Add the strawberry milk to the serving glass.
  • Add the tea.Add cooled prepared tea at room temperature to the serving glass. Chilled tea is also a good option if you want your boba tea extra cold.
  • Garnish the boba tea.You can add a few slices of fresh strawberries to the top of the boba tea to finish the drink.

To make assembling strawberry milk tea recipes faster, try making your tea and strawberry milk ahead and storing them in an airtight container in the fridge.

Strawberry milk and tea can last in the fridge for 4-5 days.
